This is an extended practical driving test which is of an advanced nature. To pass this test candidate must be able to read a number plate from a distance of 27.5 meters. Demonstrate a sound knowledge of good driving skills and road safety whilst driving in a wide variety of road conditions including towns, rural roads, dual carriageways and motorways.  Candidates will also have to complete five manoeuvres accurately, under full control and using all round effective observation. During the test candidates will also be asked to drive independently following pre-set directions and following road signs. You will also at the start of your test be asked five "show me, tell me" questions.

A maximum of six driver errors (minor faults) are permitted with no serious or dangerous errors allowed.

We offer training consisting of a combination of learning techniques and styles, including:

One to one in car training

Practise Sessions

We have found that on average you will require approximately 20 hours of tuition to reach the high standards required for the driving ability test.

You will only be allowed 3 attempts at the part 2 test.

Training for Part One and Part Two (theory and driving ability) can be taken at the same time to reduce the time it takes to finish the course.
