(Intensive Driving Lessons)
Before booking
Before booking your Intensive Course (Crash Course) we would suggest an assessment lesson with one of our instructors to see how many hours tuition you would require to reach the standard required by the DVSA to pass your Practical driving test. We can then give you our advice on the course that would best suit your needs. The assessment lesson is for an hour and a half and costs £50.00Unfortunately due to the backlog from Lockdown these courses are temporarily suspended, we will look at this again towards the end of 2023.
The Instructors at Five Star Driver Training have been providing "intensive driving courses (Commonly known as "Crash Courses") to both private individuals and companies with great success for many years. We have a frame work of intensive driving courses available, but are also able to tailor make a course just for you. (Courses are usually spread over 3-14 days).
Our intensive driving courses (also known as crash courses) are for anyone, from new beginners to those of you that have maybe failed your test once or twice already. We also offer our services to local businesses if they need to get employees on the road quickly.
To book one of our driving courses, we require a deposit of £162.00.
Crash Course details
Once you have taken the assessment lesson (Valid for 3 months) and have decided you wish to go ahead and book your course we would require a deposit of £162.00 once this is paid we book your driving test then arrange your lessons on the days/weeks preceding your test date.
i.e. if you were booking a 20 hour course you could do 4 hours per day for a week with your test on the last day (Usually a Friday). Or two hours a day for two weeks etc. The instructor would work out with you what would benefit you the most.
Please remember that the course fee must be paid in full at least 14 days before your course is due to start.
Courses that are not paid by the due date will be cancelled (Deposit non refundable).
Short Notice Driving test's
SHORT NOTICE DRIVING TESTSIf you already have a practical driving tests booked and are looking for an instructor to take you, give us a call. Although we would obviously prefer to see you for an assessment lesson at least 4 weeks before your test, we will if we have the time available arrange for one of our instructors to assess your driving. If you are at the required standard or we can help you achieve that standard in the time available we will take you for test. Contact us to discuss your requirements.
